After this week of working in my intensive for Seminary I came up with this poem…. I don’t feel its quite done yet but I think its a starting place maybe more will come from this journey:
I write this for the generation that no one left behind
For the children of immigrants
For the children of the struggle
For the children of stonewall

For the children victim of Y2K
The millennials
Victims of social media
Fast food education
Where you get your degree in 60 hours or less
Fast food religion
Where you get a menu
Combo #1 Jesus
Combo #2 Buddha with a side of fries
This is for the children with ADHD and autism—those indigo kids
Feeling and seeing beyond our comprehension

Caught up in apps and face book games and spending money that you do not have

Building debt as you build your life
